החתול היא חיה שרגילה להסתדר לבדה בטריטוריה המוכרת לה, אך כשביתו נהרס על ידי שיטפון גדול, מוצא את עצמו חתול קטן לבד על סירה, נסחף עם הזרם. כשהסירה מתמלאת בחיות נוספות, החבורה המוזרה תצטרך ללמוד לעבוד יחד בעולם שהטבע בו השתנה ללא היכר.
