השנה היא 1987. בועז בן ה-12 מגלה סוד מטלטל על אביו הנערץ מאיר – גילוי שהופך את עולמו ומוביל לתוצאות הרסניות עבור משפחתו. עשור לאחר מכן, בועז רדוף האשמה יוצא למסע שבו ינסה להתמודד עם שדי העבר. דרמה משפחתית המתרחשת בשתי תקופות, עם אסי כהן בתפקיד קולנועי ראשי ראשון מזה 15 שנה, מאת במאי ״קריוקי״ משה רוזנטל.

הסרט הוקרן בתחרות פסטיבל סאנדנס, פתח את פסטיבל הקולנוע ירושלים ושבר שיא כל הזמנים עם 16 מועמדויות לפרסי אופיר.

בהקרנה ב-24.9 יתקיים אירוח של הבמאי משה רוזנטל.
